Description: 
   This programme gives students a basic scientific training in areas of science relevant to environmental problems as well as an introduction to legal, economic and political issues that have an impact on these problems. The core major for this programme is Environmental Management. Students with an average of at least 65 per cent in units for their major may undertake the honours programme.
Admission requirements: 
   Standard UWA requirements for entry to a bachelor's degree course. See 'Undergraduate Admission' and 'University General Rules' in the Student Procedures, Rules and Policies section of this handbook. In addition to the English requirement, all students are required to have a scaled score of at least 50 per cent in a TEE mathematics subject, or equivalent. The Environmental Chemistry major also requires TEE Applicable Mathematics and TEE Chemistry.
