| | This programme spans the scientific disciplines that underpin modern medicine. Level 1 units in biology, chemistry and mathematics lead to three cross-disciplinary major streams, drawing on areas such as human biology, biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, molecular biology, pathology, pharmacology and physiology. Practical work is a very significant part of the course. |

Prerequisite: a scaled score of at least 50 per cent in a TEE mathematics subject; those students with a pass in only TEE Discrete Mathematics are required to complete MATH1050 Calculus C. A background in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics would be useful. |
