Description: 
   This programme enables students to combine scientific knowledge with practical skills in communication, applicable in the media, education, museums, industry and elsewhere. Starting from a broad base in science, it leads to the completion of a science major plus a major in Science Communication.
Admission requirements: 
   Standard UWA requirements for entry to a bachelor's degree course. See 'Undergraduate Admission' and 'University General Rules' in the Student Procedures, Rules and Policies section of this handbook. Prerequisites: a scaled score of 50 per cent or more in a TEE mathematics subject. Entrants with only TEE Discrete Mathematics must complete MATH1050 Calculus C at Level 1. Some majors have specific prerequisites such as TEE Chemistry, Physics, Applicable Mathematics and/or Calculus.
