Description: 
   The Bachelor of Science may be taken as (1) a specialised programme or (2) a foundation package and selected major discipline(s). See separate entries beneath for the specialised programmes. Foundation packages in the physical sciences, earth sciences, biological sciences, behavioural sciences and mathematical/computer sciences lead to a choice of one or two majors from the list below.
Admission requirements: 
   Standard UWA requirements for entry to a bachelor's degree course. See 'Undergraduate Admission' and 'University General Rules' in the Student Procedures, Rules and Policies section of this handbook. In addition to the English requirement, all students are required to have a scaled score of at least 50 per cent in a TEE mathematics subject; those students with a pass in only TEE Discrete Mathematics are required to complete MATH1050 Calculus C. Some majors and specialised programmes have higher prerequisites such as TEE Chemistry, Physics, Applicable Mathematics and/or Calculus.
