| Description | This program is particularly useful for recent polytechnic graduates in full-time employment in laboratory environments where knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry is valuable. However, other students with a similar background will be considered. It is only offered in Singapore, where students study outside normal working hours. |
| Admission requirements | Standard UWA requirements for entry to a bachelor’s degree. See 'Undergraduate admission' and the Student Rules in the Student Procedures, Rules and policies section of this handbook. Prerequisites: a scaled score of at least 50 per cent in WACE Mathematics 3C/3D or TEE Applicable Mathematics, and WACE Chemistry 3A/3B or TEE Chemistry. |

| Structure | This course comprises a major sequence in Chemistry with an emphasis on Organic Chemistry. The progression through the course is supported by biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences. The course consists of units available on the Crawley campus plus CHEM3319 Analytical Chemistry and Occupational Health and Safety (a new unit designed for the PSB Academy with material drawn from Level 3 units taught at Crawley). |
