Description: 
   This is a professional degree which provides knowledge and skills for those wishing to enter into the field of Engineering, specialising in Chemical and Process, Civil, Computer, Electrical and Electronic, Environmental, Materials, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Mining, Petroleum, Process Instrumentation and Control or Software.
Admission requirements: 
   Standard UWA requirements for entry to a bachelor's degree course. See 'Undergraduate Admission' and 'University General Rules' in the Student Procedures, Rules and Policies section of this handbook. Prerequisites: a scaled score of 50 per cent or more in TEE Applicable Mathematics and at least two of TEE Calculus, TEE Physics or TEE Chemistry. Students with only two of these last three subjects are required to complete an extra Level 1 unit during the course as part of an Engineering Enabling course (Physics, Calculus or Introductory Chemistry).

   Units totalling 192 points. Students are also required to complete not less than 12 weeks of practical experience in a suitable engineering environment and submit a written report before graduating.
