DescriptionThe degree of Doctor of Science in Agriculture (DScAg) is of a higher standing than either the master's degree or the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and may be awarded by the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences for independent and original work. A qualifying period of 10 years after completion of a first degree is required. Graduates of other universities may, under special conditions, submit work for the degree.
Admission requirementsA qualifying period of 10 years after completion of a first degree. Applications for the degree of Doctor of Science in Agriculture are, in the initial stage, considered as a prima facie case. If such a case is established the candidate is invited by the Faculty to present a submission for examination.
